School feeding programs promote educational access, child nutrition, and local agricultural development. In West Africa, these systems are increasingly threatened by climate shocks, funding challenges, and evolving public health crises.

Nevertheless, such programs have consistently been linked to increased school attendance and retention, particularly among girls, who often face additional educational barriers. The need for resilient, homegrown strategies is more urgent than ever.

This workshop will convene diverse stakeholders to co-create innovative, sustainable solutions that ensure every child receives a quality education and a nourishing daily meal.
